Red Carpet Affair.

Head of Information.
It all started in the middle of this year where I volunteered to be part of the committee. Okay let's skip the story to all important parts :)
We were taking things really slowly tbh, and at the end of the day we were RUSHING like nobody's business. By the time SPM ended, we practically dedicated all of our time to Prom. Preparations for everything. Registration, backdrop, videos, performances. All sorts!
During the week of Prom, we practically sweat our asses off for the whole day until the day Prom arrived. Which was yesterday.
The night before yesterday, we had a problem with our backdrop and thus seeked for help. The morning of Prom day, I woke up early after having only a few hours of sleep. Rushed to pick my committees up to help with the backdrop. Got back home, rushed like crazy over the backdrop. Showered and rushed to Empire.
We set up everything, got ready everything, checked and finalize everything and finally did the backdrop. Which was an epic fail at the end of the day. All our hard work went to waste when we watched it tumble down, and that's it. End of backdrop. Blah -.-
BUT EITHER WAY, that wouldn't ruin Prom would it :P
By 2.30pm, Wenyi and I rushed to the hotel room to shower and rushed to the saloon to do our hair. At first my curls were too heavy for my liking but I was loving it in the end of the day :) Rushed back to the hotel by 4.45pm and rushed putting on our make up. Loved my make up. It was simple and chiq, and nice.
Notice : The word RUSHED was used in almost every sentence. YES WE WERE PRACTICALLY RUSHING.
Headed down to the lobby after we did our make up, met up with my Registration crew and started registration. Many people were late so yeah, what the heck everything was delayed. Many problems occured too, but thanks to my committees we were able to pull it through :)
Emcees for the night were Muayyad, Muidz and Aesya. And they 3 did an awesome, awesome job though it was spontaneous without any practice. Thank you guys so much :)
Performances were great. But sadly I for one didn't get to really sit down and enjoy cause I had to run up and down, in and out just to ensure that everything goes on well. Not to mention, MY HEELS WERE KILLING ME.
Food, was, awesome. HANDS DOWN. I'm serious. Everyone complimented the food, not even ONE insult. I guess that was worth their money, eh? :) And yes sadly again, I DIDN'T EVEN GET TO EAT MUCH. -.- Only had a piece of Roti Canai and a few bites of food during Prom the whole day. I was about to collasp and die.

Dance floor was dead to be honest. And Arif went missing during the slow dance session and I was kind of pissed. :O
Later on the real dance floor start and it was dead! Rawwwwr why la why :/ But either way here comes the exciting part, for me at least! :D
My favourite people were missing. Even Wenyi who promised to dance along with me. I saw her at the backstage and went to her to pull her to the dance floor but she friggin' pushed me away. With the height of my heels I seriously almost lost control and fell. She was acting all weird and went like MY MOTHER CALLING ME with her phone in her hands. And I was like whaaaaaaaaaaaaat? I turned behind several times to find my other peers but she kept pulling me back.
And then she turned me towards my back.
And I saw Arif. Kneeling down on one knee and asking me to be his.
With a bunch of romantic words which I wanted to melt on the spot listening to them. :')
He wore on a necklace around my neck and I saw my other brother, Premmie handling over to him a bouquet of Roses. :)
The song that was playing? Bruno Mars' Just The Way You Are :)
People around? Cheering, congratulating, clapping, and singing the song along. :)
Tears filled up my eyes but I obviously couldn't cry hysterically or my make up would be ruined. Teared and wipe them off, teared and wiped them off, and slow danced with my boy with Bruno Mars' song :)
Bie, thank you for making that night so special for me. I know I'm a very hard person (and I seriously mean it, it's very hard to give me a surprise because I'm THAT smart to figure out fishy tricks) to be given a surprise to but you still managed to pull it off :) I love you so much and I love how you made the ending of that night as a happy ending. No one would ever do that for me and you are probably the one and only boy who would ever do that for me. I love how you made me become the spotlight of the night, and I love the fact that people were congratulating me. :)

So that's it. Prom started to end. :) It was a memorable night. And quote : The most memorable night of your life. It is indeed, meaningful. :)
Didn't really slept that night actually. Spent the night at the hotel with my brothers and we drank, and 2 got drunk and tipsy. Whoops! Jack Daniels, ;)
