Ace-ed Farewell 2010. (II)
It's a place where I go to every Saturday at 4-6pm for god-knows-how-many-years. It's a place where 2 hours flies by really quickly. It's a place where I have fun. It's a place where I can be myself. It's a place where I can show my true leadership quality. It's a place where I express my thoughts and feelings in words and actions. It's a place where I learn how to be a more confident person. It's a place, where I have learnt SO MANY things from.
I will never forget the day I've started stepping foot into Ace-ed. From the shop lot above the pet shop, to now, opposite Alliance Bank. I've grown so much in Ace-ed, learnt so much in Ace-ed. My high level of confidence, as well as leadership comes from Ace-ed. My epic, siao, extraordinary ideas, comes from Ace-ed as well.
It's sad to say that it'll be my last year there, but wait fo' me, I'll be coming back fo' sure. :)
So we had our Farewell Party yesterday at Bukit Jalil Golf Club(BJGC). Started off at 12pm when I began to do my make up, since I wouldn't have time to do it in the Golf Club itself. And left for Ace-ed at 1.30pm. I was one of the earliest to reach, and somehow felt sesat and nervous. :S But anyhow, those girls made me feel at home so finally I was having fun with them all day :)
Our bus was the latest to arrive since it went missing somehow, but on the way to to BJGC was funny :) Ser Hwei was hyper like crazy in the bus so we teased a whole lot about her and Li Yang :P Haha I love how outgoing those people are :)
Anyways, fast forward.
When we finally reached and enter the hall, I saw Jack, Ji Sheng and Chun Yang and I was like WHAAAAT you guys join Ace-ed too!? LOL! Small world, seriously :)
Later on we were then placed into different groups of movie since the theme was Celebrity. I was placed into Prince of Persia, and my sub-set group was Emma Arterton. Isn't it suppose to be, Gemma? D: Er nvm.
The first thing we need to do was to come out with a small presentation to win the Golden Ticket which my sub-set didn't win, but I was proud and happy with the other sub-sets in my group :) Those presentations were hilarious and fun to watch, :)
Teachers then did their performances for us to watch, which was of course, x100 times better than us?! Hahahah.
Then, the winning sub-sets had to do a MOVIE PARODY while the losers had to do a performance to show our teachers gratitude. Had to prepare for 1 hour and ours was a hugeeee embarrassment but nevertheless, we did have fun so it's all that matters :)
Got ready and all and it was time for us to change into our costumes. I felt awkward at first because not a lot of people bother dressing up but later on, nyahahah. I won best dressed! :D I only tied my hair to a pony tail at first because I didn't have time to tie it into a bun, but then a teacher asked me to tie it into a bun so with much persuasion I asked Pek June's help to spray tonnes and tonnes of hairspray on my hair to make the bun stay so voila! A messy bun :D But it was awesome, so doesn't matter :)
Then the movie parody started and all of them were HILARIOUS. Hahah. Especially Soon Yong's one but I don't know why didn't his sub-set win but it's okay, I'm proud of what he did :) Iron Man's group won for the entire day so yeap, congratulations! You guys definitely deserve it :)
And the losers were..... *hides face* Lol.
Then erm. It was the Token of Appreciation for Old Students time. And wow, time definitely flies. I've been in Ace-ed for 9, years. ALMOST a decade. Seriously. I'm so gonna miss Teacher Anne and all the programs we did. All the presentation, writings, WHERE else can I find things like that, :( Sigh.
I then decided to make an impromptu speech in front of hundreds of students and teachers on behalf of my brothers to thank Teacher Anne for all her guidance since my eldest brother started way back when her tuition was just in her house itself. I got all teary and wanted to cry, seriously. Gave Teacher Anne a huge tight hug :( That's definitely one of the most impromptu and biggest speech I've done after learning it for so many years in Ace-ed. And yeap, I'm doing it for the first time in an Ace-ed event too, :')
Anyways, blahblablah and it was the DANCE FLOOR time. Woooohoo. I went wild and I can't even remember the last time I partied so hard! It was fun partying with those girls and dancing all the way. My legs we practically SORE and THANK GOD I didn't wore heels. I would've died. :S When I got home, my legs were so tired I could barely stand in the shower, I'm dead serious :O
Then yeah.. that wraps up the night. Took pictures, :)
